The Climate Friendly Farming Project has maintained an active Extensionn Outreach effort to accelerate the transfer of information
and technology to farmers, decision-makers, researchers, environmental groups, media
and consumers using electronic and print media, "white papers",
workshops, conferences, website and demonstration site tours. We
will also be actively pursuing partnerships for research and education
with other institutions and organizations. For details of coming and recent events see our News page. For publications, presentations and other materials from the project, see our Publications page.
2007 outreach efforts of the Project are focused around the Washington State Climate Advisory Team process co-coordinated by Washington Departments of Ecology and Community, Trade and Economic Development. The Project has representation on the umbrella Climate Advisory Team via WSU Tri-Cities Chancellor Vicky Carwein, the Agriculture Technical Working Group (TWG) and the Agriculture Preparation / Adaptation Working Group (PAWG) through members of the Project Team.
